ITTY BITTY BITS CATALOG CASE

This is another CASE from the new Idea Book and Catalog.  My inspiration can be found on page 113.  Since I like to use my Big Shot, I decided to use a floral design instead of the leaves used in the catalog.  No cutting with scissors is always a “plus” for me!

I played around with some different colors but finally settled on a pink and orange theme!  This seems to be my current favorite color combination.  I love the 1 ¼ inch Striped Grosgrain Ribbon-it is so soft and easy to work with.  All the new colors will be included in my first order on July 1st!!

 I needed several “thank you” cards, so I used a verse from the Flight of the Butterfly stamp set on the inside.  I think this card would be great for a birthday, too.  The soft colors used in the catalog lend the card to be used for men-always a challenge for me!

Thoughts and Prayers Catalog Case

This is another CASE from the new catalog.  Take a look on page 152 to see where my inspiration came from.  I didn’t have all of the items (DSP and In-color ribbon), but I did try to use some of the pre-order paper and ribbon that I purchased.  I also don’t have the Floral Fusion Sizzlit Die, so I used circle punches instead.  I think my flower turned out quite nicely!

I tried out the new Color Coach to come up with colors.  I used the recommended Concord Crush and Pear Pizzazz, but I opted for Pumpkin Pie instead of the Peach Parfait.  I like that the new coach gives some different options and it’s wonderful to have every color available!  I love our old color coach but it did have it’s limitations.

Pocket Silhouettes

Karin invited me over to stamp on Tuesday and we had a fabulous time!  I love days that I can just stamp and it’s even more fun when I can share the time with a good friend.

I love our new catalog and had decided to use the samples for some inspiration.  I had so much fun-it was hard to stop!  This card was CASE’d from the smaller version on page 111 of the catalog.  I rarely use little cards, so I transformed it into a full sized card.

I am so excited with the new accessories that will be available to us July 1.  I had some tiny pearls in my stash so I used them on the flowers.  Soon we will be able to buy these from Stampin’ Up!
