Get Well Wishes

Good Evening Everyone!

I took my inspiration from the wonderful Mary Brown, and CASE'd her wonderful card seen here .... changing up a few things (colors, sentiment, ribbon). I needed a few Get Well Cards to send to some friends this evening and took advantage of some cute flowers to cheer them up! Now if only Spring would arrive ...... I think we have a month or more before we start seeing the Crocus popping through the ground. I am headed to Arizona for a month on Wednesday to wait it out and hopefully return to Michigan when the snow is GONE!

 

I used the Filled with Love Stamp Set for the flower Stems, the Boho Blossoms Extra Large Punch for the flower backgrounds and the clear Bitty Buttons for the flowers. Daffodil Yellow, Rich Razzelberry and Pacific Point created the "pop" of color (thanks to the Color Coach!).

A CASE of Regina's Card - May Your Layers Be Many .....

The minute I saw a great card made by Regina, click here, I had to CASE it and make one of my own! I changed some things up but the concept was definitely inspired by her great card!

Here is my version!

I absolutely LOVE the BigZ Tasteful Trim die! I like how bright and cheery the card turned out. Hope you like it too!

Trying My Hand at Embossing!

Hi Everyone;

I spent this afternoon making some cards using the embossing technique that everyone seems to be trying their hand at! Julie first introduced me to the possibilities last month with her great card for Valentine's Day. I took inspiration from several cards I saw and also from the new Springtime Vintage Designer Series Paper from the Occasions Mini. I really like how they turned out!

I used a combination of colors highlighted in the papers - Not Quite Navy, Crumb Cake, Rose Red, Pear Pizzazz and Very Vanilla, in addition to the super cool NEW seam binding available in Rose Red, Crumb Cake and Pear Pizzazz.

A couple of the cards used brads from the Antique Brads Collection. The sentiments from the Upsy Daisy Stamp Set and Sincere Salutations were used. The Big Shot (my favorite tool of all!) and the Square Lattice Embossing Folder were used after adhering the squares onto a piece of Very Vanilla.

Here's another idea for a Valentine's Day type card or could be used to just let that special person in your life know you are thinking of them! I love the contrast of the basic blank, red and vanilla together. I am so happy SU! came out with pearls too!

Happy Anniversary to my wonderful husband, Mark!

Before we set off on our vacation to our home in Arizona, I needed an anniversary card for my best friend and hubby, Mark. We celebrated our 6 year wedding anniversary! He is definitely my BEST FRIEND and I am the luckiest woman in the world. 

The owl punch from Stampin' Up! is a MUST!! Too many cute options to play with :)
